You should not miss this catering service - you will LOVE it!!!
We stayed at Playa Blanca for a week and we had Jen cater 2 dinners and one lunch. This was by far the best food we had the whole week. We had the red snapper; shrimp curry and Asian noodle salad with chicken - they were all delicious and presented beautifully! Jen delivered which was also a blessing as we did not have to venture out on the dirt road in the dark! I would absolutely recommend Jen and hope to use her again in the future!
Excellent prepared food drop off!
I had a surf trip planned in Playa Negra for 6 guys and Jennifer prepared meals for 4 of our nights. She worked closely with me to help with the nightly menus and dropped off the food each night. Everything was delicious, fresh and exceeded expectations. For the 6 of us, we usually ordered 1 salad and 2 entrees. It was plenty of food and we always had leftovers for lunch the following day. Highly recommend!! I am vegan and found each dish to be thoughtful, filling and well executed. My friends said all of the fish and non-vegan dishes were excellent too!

Jennifer was super helpful in planning our dinner meal for our 1st night of vacation in Playa Negra which she delivered to our beach house. The food was so delicious we ordered delivery again a few nights later. Highly recommend you order the Seared Tuna Teriyaki Platter and the Miso Glazed Chicken Platter and the Enchiladas. Salads were equally as delicious - La Ventana, green goddess, rainbow salad and Asian noodles are to die for. Dressings and sauces very light and tasty and perfectly complement the food. Can't say enough about how spectacular this food was. Jennifer was also very accommodating with any special requests. Thanks Jennifer!
We were blessed with a week in Costa Rica. Surf trip, family spring break and booked last minute with Jennifer! Wow! The best part of our trip were the amazing meals! We did 3 dinners, 2 big breakfasts, and awesome snacks! Not to mention the amazing desserts! We had carrot cake and chocolate fudge cake! The seared tuna, chicken miso and of course lasagna were BEYOND wonderful! My son loved the breakfast burritos and hummus and guacamole with chips all day! Jen is a gracious and welcoming woman who I am looking forward to seeing soon! Her attention to detail made my stay in Playa Negra better than anticipated!

Jennifer with La Ventana was awesome!!! We ordered 5 dinners and 2 breakfast with her. We set it all up before our arrival and she showed up exactly when she said she was going to show up, the portions were very generous (we even had leftovers), and the food was delicious! I especially loved the Coconut Curry Chicken with Coconut Rice! Yum Yum!! We just loved the amount of money we saved using Jennifer's services...So if you're busy and just want a warm, delicious meal delivered right to your home, give Jennifer a call! Highly recommend.
We recently had catering services from La Ventana for our group of 10 and everything was excellent! The food was fresh, healthy and delicious! Our deliveries were well-timed and communication was excellent. Highly recommend!
If you are staying near Playa Negra, you must order food from here! We ordered food to have delivered for our first night. Food was absolutely amazing! We ordered the seared tuna, chicken curry with coconut rice, homemade focaccia bread. homemade chips with salsa, guacamole, roasted chicken and the couscous salad. We were able to have multiple leftovers throughout the week. I cannot recommend this place enough!!
My group of 8 enjoyed several delivered meals from La Ventana at our beach house in Playa Negra. Highlights for us were the frittatas and muffins- especially the banana coconut muffins. Chef Jen also prepared and delivered a gorgeous birthday cake. Perfection! Thank you.
We used La Ventana/Jen for drop-off meals for our family while staying at an Airbnb in Playa Negra. Everyone loved the meals and even asked for recipes-this included some of my pickier eaters. She did a great job, and the quality of food was great! Would highly recommend the catering service.

My family and I came for a weeks vacation and my goal was to step away from the kitchen. We pre-ordered food from Jen to have throughout the week - BEST DECISION EVER! Jen's food is all homemade, absolutely delicious and delivered! Highly highly recommended!
